Traversing our fears
“I have taught you the way of wisdom; I have led you in the paths of uprightness.”
2 - Reflect
Getting past our fears can sometimes be overwhelming. We think of so many things before doing something that we believe is impossible and it can make us give up completely, without even having tried. When fears encroach upon us, they have an overwhelming power, they act as false expectations or apprehensive issues that we are unable to take down and keep us from being happier and achieve a greater goal. We are left asking of what could have happened, we don't take advantage of the moment in order to take action and finally decide to do it.
Our Father is the one who joins us and guides us to face our fears once and for all. Dare to open your heart, giving yourself over to the Lord is how we will get past fear. Cross over that limitation and enter into new possibilities, into different ways of viewing our destiny. If we do it with God's help, we must trust that He will not let anything bad happen to us, that as a Father of devoted and faithful children, He watches over us every second of our existence. Rest well knowing that the Lord will be there to pick us up if we fail, take the curious and wondrous path, go out and play like children. Hiding our desires will only postpone them and create excuses, and will keep us comfortable in our absolute discomfort.
